Your data stays on this device.
Your purchase history shows what you own, where you live and what you spend. BillFold doesn't upload any of it.
- No sign-up. No account, email or password.
- No cloud. Purchases, documents and reminders are stored only on your phone.
- Scanning happens on your phone. Bills are read on the device, not sent to a server.
- You control the backups. Export to a file you choose, and import it on any phone.

In short
Your data stays on this device. BillFold has no accounts and no cloud storage, and the developer does not collect your purchases, bills or documents.
What BillFold stores
- The purchase details you enter or scan: product, brand, model, serial number, price, seller, invoice number and dates.
- Warranty and return periods, and the reminders scheduled for them.
- Documents you attach, such as receipts, invoices and warranty cards.
- Official brand links you save.
All of this is stored locally in the app's private storage on your phone. Uninstalling BillFold deletes it.
Bill scanning
When you scan or import a bill, the app reads the text with an on-device text recognition model. The image isn't uploaded to read it.
Backups
Export writes all your data to a file in a location you choose. Import reads that file back. BillFold never sends backups anywhere, and what happens to an exported file is up to you.
Permissions

Children
BillFold is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone.
