Most of us only look for a bill when something breaks, and by then it's faded, lost or out of date. BillFold stores it when you buy and reminds you before the deadline, while you can still act.
Features
Point your camera at a paper bill. BillFold reads the product, brand, seller, price, invoice number and date. Any field it isn't sure of is highlighted for you to check. Scanning happens on your phone, not on a server.
Get a notification 30 days, 7 days and 1 day before a warranty or return window ends, at a time you choose.
Choose 7, 10, 15 or 30 days, or pick an exact end date. BillFold tracks the return window alongside the warranty.
Choose 6 months, 1, 2 or 3 years, or a custom end date. Not sure? Skip it and add it later.
Attach receipts, invoices and warranty cards as PDF, JPG, PNG or WEBP. Share any of them in a tap when a service center asks.
Save each brand's support, warranty, registration and service-center pages, so you don't have to search for them later.
Search by product, brand, model, seller or invoice number. Filter by Active, Expiring, Return pending or Expired.
Export everything to a single file and import it on a new phone. When you restore, BillFold merges the backup with what's already on the phone and shows what was added, updated or unchanged.

No. Install the app and add your first purchase. There's no sign-up, email or password.
Only on your phone. BillFold doesn't upload your purchases, documents or bills. To move to a new phone, use Settings → Export data, then Import data on the new device.
You review every scan before it's saved, and any field BillFold isn't confident about is highlighted. If a bill can't be read, try better lighting, lay the bill flat and include the whole invoice. You can also enter the details by hand.
Yes. Choose "I don't know" or "Skip for now" and add it later from the product page. The same goes for return windows.
BillFold uses these permissions to remind you 30 days, 7 days and 1 day before a deadline, at the time you set. Exact alarms let the reminder arrive at that time. Without them, Android may delay it. Both can be turned off in Settings.
Android 8.0 (Oreo) and newer. The camera is only needed for scanning, and you can import bills from your photos or files instead.
